Hyaluronic Acid Fillers
Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a clear, gooey substance naturally produced by your body, with half of all HA production occurring in the dermal layer of your skin. This substance acts like a sponge, attracting 1000 times its weight in water, to keep your skin and tissues hydrated and supple.
During your 30’s the skin begins to mature, moisture and elasticity is lost and wrinkles form. Skin moisture loss increases as your skin produces less Hyaluronic Acid and existing HA starts to degrade. HA dermal fillers are made up of gel hyaluronic acids that help diminish facial wrinkles. These fillers can help add lost volume, create contour, and repair other imperfections.

HA fillers typically last between 6-12 months on average, as your body gradually and naturally absorb the particles.
Bio-stimulants/Collagen stimulators
Collagen stimulators treat one of the major underlying causes of aging skin - loss of collagen. Collagen stimulators are injected into different layers of the skin, replacing the areas of collagen loss and adding volume and fullness. Collagen stimulators help the body regenerate lost collagen over time. These fillers typically last longer than their HA counterparts due to their mechanism of action. Duration can be two – three years with yearly top-offs as they are metabolized gradually and have the added benefit of collagen stimulation which improves skin texture and tone.

What is Filler?
Remedy Aesthetics & Rejuvenation specializes in both hyaluronic acid and bio-stimulant fillers. The use of fillers are known to eliminate wrinkles, plump and hydrate lips, replace volume loss, improve scar depressions, and volumize creases and folds of the face. As we age, our skin becomes more susceptible to wrinkles and fine lines, especially due to sun damage and muscle movement. Facial fillers provide a solution to such damage through facial injections.
How much does Filler cost?
Because everyone’s needs are different, and with such a wide variety of treatments involving filler, a personal consultation is the best way to establish cost. With that in mind, filler treatments start at $650. This cost not only reflects the price of the product, but also the skill, knowledge and expertise of the medical injector. We do not price match.
When will i see results?
Results are visible immediately after treatment. The healing process then begins which involves swelling for about 3-7 days depending on the amount injected, area injected, and how your body reacts to the procedure. The product then settles and you’ll enjoy your final results about 2-3 weeks after injections. Please give yourself a minimum of 2 weeks before any events or vacations in case of residual bruising and swelling.
How long do results last?
Duration of filler treatments differs from person to person and from treatment to treatment. Because the product is being injected into the body, some bodies may metabolize the product faster than others. See below for average duration based on treatment:

How many treatments will i need?
Facial fillers are a temporary solution, and therefore to maintain results, treatments will need to be administered on a recurring basis.
Will I need time to recover?
Bruising and/or swelling is very possible and expected. Please plan your treatments at least 2 weeks prior to any events/vacations.
